Discrimination Based on Gender is Prohibited

The Title IX Office is committed to fostering an environment in which all members of our campus community are safe from gender/sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual violence. Discrimination based on gender or sex is strictly prohibited. UC policies prohibit harassment or discrimination based on actual or perceived gender identity. The Title IX Office encourages anyone that has experienced sex/gender related discrimination or harassment to report as soon as possible after the occurrence.

Report a possible Title IX incident using this online reporting link or by calling the Title IX Office at (831) 459-2462.

Despite recent federal changes, all students and employees at UCSC are protected by state law and university policies which specifically prohibit discrimination based on gender. The UCSC Title IX Office will continue to accept reports and work to resolve complaints related to gender discrimination.
