Do you know April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month? teal ribbon was adopted as a symbol of sexual assault awareness and prevention

April 2022 marks the official 21st anniversary of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Each year during the month of April, state and community-based organizations and college campuses plan events and activities. The goal is to highlight sexual violence as a public health, human rights and social justice issue and reinforce the need for prevention efforts.

This year, The Coordinated Community Review Team (CCRT) invites you to our second Sexual Assault Awareness Month, where our on-campus and off-campus community partners host exciting events to highlight the best practice with regards to preventing and addressing sexual assault.

You can also spread awareness through SAAM awareness zoom backgrounds.
