Title IX Prohibits Discrimination based on Gender

The Title IX Office is committed to fostering an environment in which all members of our campus community are safe from gender and sex based discrimination including sexual harassment and sexual violence. Discrimination based on gender or sex is strictly prohibited under federal and state laws and under the UC Policy on Sexual Violence and Sexual HarassmentAll students and employees at UCSC are protected by state law and university policies which specifically prohibit discrimination based on gender. The Title IX Office encourages anyone that has experienced or witnessed sex/gender based discrimination or harassment to report as soon as possible and to seek support from our office.

Report a possible Title IX incident using this online reporting link  or by calling the Title IX Office at (831) 459-2462. We will respond by reaching out to you and inviting you to meet with us. During this meeting we will work with you to determine how to proceed. Supportive measures are available without an investigation and without notifying the other party.
