Resolution Options
There are many ways Title IX can respond to a report, including providing safety & supportive measures, alternative resolutions, and investigations.

What happens after a report has been filed?
Once a report has been filed, Title IX will reach out to the complainant via email unless it is indicated in the report that a phone call is best.
In the outreach, we will share resources, including confidential options, and invite the complainant to meet with us. If a complainant chooses to meet with Title IX, they will have an opportunity to ask questions, request safety and supportive measures, and to share information about their report.
Title IX will work with the complainant to determine how best to proceed.
