Coordinated Community Review Team

What is CCRT?

The CCRT serves in an advisory capacity to campus leadership and community members about best practices in policies, education, prevention, and response to these kinds of incidents.

The UC Santa Cruz Coordinated Community Review Team (CCRT) is charged to oversee a collaborative approach to preventing and addressing sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

CCRT participation is an opportunity to work together in order to develop best practice with regards to preventing and addressing sexual violence. The CCRT will focus on:

  • Conducting an annual review of policies and recommending changes to policies and procedures;
  • Overseeing the coordination and implementation of prevention, education, and awareness programs;
  • Providing advice and feedback on, and communicating messages about University and community efforts to prevent and respond to sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

How to participate?

The larger CCRT meets twice a year and additionally holds subcommittee meetings throughout year related to its goals:

  • Policies and procedures
  • Education and awareness
  • Media and public awareness efforts and communication

The Title IX Coordinator and the CARE Director co-chair the Coordinated Community Review Team (CCRT). CCRT participants can provide feedback during the CCRT meetings and/or via email.  If you are interested in participating on the CCRT or would like more information, please contact titleix@ucsc.edu.
