SVSH Prevention Training for Non-Supervisors and Student Employees

As part of a campus wide effort to prevent and address sexual violence and sexual harassment, all university employees are required to complete ongoing prevention training. The UC PREVENTING HARASSMENT & DISCRIMINATION: NON-SUPERVISORS e training can be found in the Learning Center and provides information on preventing and responding to sexual violence and sexual harassment, including what each of us can do to make our UC campus culture safer for all. Training is provided through the UC Learning Center at all UC locations.

Within a few days of being entered into the payroll system, new employees (including undergraduate student employees) are sent an automated invitation to complete the online training to their UCSC email address. Employees must complete the training within six weeks of the start of their employment and every two years thereafter. The training takes about 50 minutes to complete and provides important information about rights and resources as well as reporting responsibilities that all UC employees have. To locate your training, login to the UC Learning Center and enter your username and gold password. If you have trouble logging in contact: learningcenter@ucsc.edu.

Survivors of sexual violence may contact care@ucsc.edu for alternate training if they are concerned that the content of the non-supervisory training will be triggering. All requests made to CARE are confidential.
